I'm sure that a number of developers have been downloading the Windows developer preview. With the preview comes new (unofficial) shortcuts. The following list are the ones we're aware of:
Windows logo key+Y
Temporarily look at the desktop
Windows logo key+Enter
Windows logo key+F
Windows logo key+I
Windows logo key+K
Windows logo key+H
Windows logo key+Q
Windows logo key+W
Windows logo key+Z
Flip open apps
Windows logo key+C
Thanks for these Windows 8 keyboard shortcuts, especially Narrator. I look forward to giving Windows 8, especially Narrator a spin.
Is there a keyboard shortcut for closing down apps after they are opened?
@Seth I just hit the Windows key on the keyboard to go back to the home screen. As far freeing up the memory, not sure how...it appears to just background those apps. If you look in Task Manager you will see items that are listed as suspended.
Its all ok, but I have no idea how to close metro apps using keyboard or mouse.
Problem for me... I can't find how to do this!
