SUA releases have always been planned with the OS version upgrade so far and I expect the next update would be with Windows 8.

I took part in the survey and would like to know what Microsofts plans are with SUA? Is it going to be stalled (as it is currently), is it going to be terminated or might it be revitalised with an injection of up-to-date code development tools and promotion on platforms other than Win7 Ultimate and Enterprise?

Microsoft ought to at least acknowledge that many of its customers took time to fill out the survey. Anything else is just plain rude. Better even would be presenting a roadmap for where Microsoft wants SUA to go. It has lots of potential and could be used to lure in UNIX hungry users who currently choose MacOSX or Linux.
