We’ve restarted the ISV Innovation Day series here in Singapore which we held at the SMU Admin Building last 27th January 2010. We wanted to share with our partners in the ISV and custom development space where we are seeing as opportunities in our customer space.
The event kicked off with the Director of Developer and Platform Evangelism, John Fernandes talking about where Microsoft sees the market is going in terms of technology trends and the decisions being made by technology decision makers.
He then invited 2 of our managed ISV partners to share their experiences partnering with Microsoft. Mr. Baskaran of Gurusoft and Mr. Charles Goh of Inspire-Tech shared about how they are able to leverage the resources from the Microsoft Partner Network and the relationship they have built with the local Microsoft team to support in terms of technology development as well as go to market activities.
The next sessions were technology update sessions that talked about a few of the new products that we have launching this year and how ISVs and custom developers can take advantage of the Microsoft platform to speed up their development and quickly go to market with their solutions.
We had a session on SharePoint 2010 and Office 2010, SQL Server 2010 R2, xRM, Visual Studio 2010 and the Microsoft Partner Network for ISVs.
