It solved the problem for us on one environment wherein we have just two web front servers and sandbox is enabled on both but not on the other one wherein we have plenty of web front end servers and sandbox is enabled only on app servers.

edit reg to 0x00023e00 and did all above steps but no luck for me please help me.

If raising the WorkerProcessExecutionTimeout value solves the problem, then the sandboxed service really was too busy. This post is concerned with puzzling cases where the error message is not literally true.

Well a couple of hours ago I left a comment in despair of ever finding a solution to this pita error message.

Scenario:

CRM 2011 (IFD implementation) running on its own server as part of a SBS 2011 network, trying to integrate with Sharepoint Foundation on the SBS server. List component would not activate, and even pretended to activate if you hit close on the dialogue box before sandbox times out as busy!

But I couldn't resist doing one last round of the blogs for clues...

And first of all I found this:

And the clue is install and run ULS viewer!!

Then from ULS errors logged I eventually found this:

social.technet.microsoft.com/.../3b50dd8b-d789-4a2d-86f2-784b0e73c6a8

And there you have some manual registry permission changes that unlock the whole mess!

In my case the last three of five needed to be changed...

Would be fantastic if someone with expertise would explain / document what's going on here.....

This did the trick for me.. read it on another blog.

$uc = [Microsoft.SharePoint.Administration.SPUserCodeService]::Local

$uc.WorkerProcessExecutionTimeout = 5000

$uc.Update()

$tier = $uc.Tiers[""] # default Tier has no Name

$tier.MaximumWorkerProcesses = 2 # number of CPU Cores + 1

$tier.Update()

Maybe I am a noob, but when I changed the registry key with 0x00023e00, I got the value automatically changed to 4100023e.

In regedit, I had to set the value to 00023e00 in order to get the correct value displayed : 0x00023e00 .
