In other Outlook news, Microsoft released a video add-on to version 2003 yesterday. Apparently Microsoft released the software yesterday and updated it tomorrow; the document says that a new, updated version released Dec. 5--and that’s tomorrow.

The add-on enables users to send video e-mail using Outlook 2003. A Webcam and Windows Media Player 7.1 or later is required. I assume this means the video is encoded as Windows Media Video. My recommendation: Don’t send video e-mail without broadband on the sending and the receiving end. The software is available here.
