For a few years now, I've been using Rob Miles (and indeed the whole CS department at Hull) as a kind of reference point. They saw the value of .NET (and Imagine Cup, and MSDN AA etc. etc. - the whole nine yards) pretty much before it was released, and have been teaching it to their students ever since.

Rob's a bit of a whizz when it comes to writing books (see his works on XNA and .NET Microframework), and has produced this text designed to introduce C# in the classroom.
