The first time I saw the Microsoft org chart, I was reminded of Douglas Adams’ Total Perspective Vortex -

When you are put into the Vortex you are given just one momentary glimpse of the entire unimaginable infinity of creation, and somewhere in it a tiny little mark, a microscopic dot on a microscopic dot, which says, “You are here.” *

Summed it up  - I could see my name at the bottom of a very, very long list, with Bill’s name shrouded in clouds. I learned to live with that – the weather is pretty good down here anyway.
