A new whitepaper discussing SOX compliance and VSTS has been released.
Microsoft Visual Studio Team System 2008 can be used to assist a business in collecting information that concerns its software-development practices, which may be of use towards compliance with a regulatory framework, such as Sarbanes-Oxley section 404 ("Sarbanes-Oxley 404") internal-control verification and testing.

Big thanks to everyone that attended the Phoenix Launch this past Tuesday (4/1), especially those who signed up for the Developer Track! It was a truly a wonderful day packed with cool content and demos. Rob Bagby, as always, did a tremendous job delivering awesome demos during the developer track (and the keynote, too!) that built on top of each other. Joe Shirey added his own value as well in presenting a session on development in Office. And last but not least, Mike Palermo tag-teamed with Rob to provide a community angle.
Thank you to all whom I met during the day, both in between sessions and at the developer tools booth in the Expo Hall.
