I find it interesting, however, very inaccurate. No Databinding in Silverlight... wow... if that is true, then I'm going to have to pull several of my examples showing how easy it is to do it. ;-)

Even at that time frame (July '07) the bits I had back then did it. It's one of it's advertised core strengths. Therefore, I take it with a big giant grain of salt - and I hate salt!

That’s true for many products. Some people are comfortable with a 57 Chevy and some are comfortable with a Ferrari Enzo.

Most of the information is out-dated but still an interesting look into the feature sets of both. Basically I think it comes down to what you are comfortable using and what your users want.

One thing Flash has is the years of experience and war-tested information on what users and browsers want.

Yeah, I know - it's so tough to find accurate information.

I'd rather just stay out of the us-vs-them discussion and present what I know Silverlight can do.

My audience keep 'baiting me' with a "Compare, Compare, Compare" plea though.

I've done half the things he says Silverlight can't do, but maybe I’m on a different version…called “the latest”. Silverlight will eat Flash for breakfast and the only people complaining will be the crystalline weenies who wasted their lives learning (and agonizing over) Flash. imho
