I've been on Facebook for a couple of years as a Stanford alumnus, but lately it really seems to be taking off and lots of  my friends are showing up there, including many Microsoft colleagues. I like Facebook, particularly relative to other social networking systems, because of the fine-grained control they give over what information I share, and what I don't, to which sets of people.
