SQL Azure provides a large-scale multi-tenant database service on shared resources. In order to provide a good experience to all SQL Azure customers, your connection to the service may be closed due to several conditions. The this whitepaper describes the reasons and thresholds that trigger connection-loss.

The link doesn't work...! hmmm....Maybe the database connection was closed for one of the conditions mentioned in the whitepaper? I wonder what triggered the connection-loss????
