hai friends this is a very good post im using windows 7 premium and i have installed the following setup which is one among the above listed.

Download SQL Server 2005 Express Edition SP3.

This works perfectly fine in my laptop.

i am installing sql server 2008 without the service p ....but on the setup support rules..the system reports that it was unable to resatrt my system hence i am unable to go further...what can i do?

i install sql server 2005 on my window 7 operating system...

but when i create database then system throw to error

failed to retrive data for this request.

(microsoft.sqlserver.express.smoenum)

I´ve installed sucessfully SQL Server 2005 on windows 7 home premium in a Laptop ( Toshiba satellite L505). Just leave instructions: Download SQL Server 2005 Express Edition SP3 from the link above ( or you need) and install.
