Why SP4 does not include cumulative update package 12 for SQL Server 2005 SP3?
The version of SQLEXPR.EXE published on 11/3 does not appear to resolve the setup failure documented in KB968749 (support.microsoft.com/.../968749).
Is this on the table for SP4?
I can not upgrade my version of SQL 2005 Express w/ Advanced Services SP3 using any of the files provided on the Express Service Pack 4 CTP Site: SQLEXPR.EXE, SQLEXPR32.EXE, SQLServer2005ExpressSP4-KB2303003-x86-ENU.exe. SQLServer2005ExpressSP4-KB2303003-x86-ENU.exe says "The edition of product instance SQLEXPRESS2005 does not qualify for this update". SQLEXPR.EXE and SQLEXPR32.EXE don't have any choices for me to select on the "Existing Components" screen and will not let me proceed when I click on "Next" telling me that "...no effective changes are being made..""
Please correct the text "To obtain SQL Server 2008 SP2 CTP please visit the links below:"
It should be "...SQL server 2005 SP4 CTP..."
