&lt;p&gt;In order to copy logins as well, you can use &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;i) Copy Database Wizard approach by selecting the server side options in the wizard&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;ii) SMO Transfer by specifying scripting options.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In the other scenarios, logins are not copied.&lt;/p&gt;
