We talk a lot at Microsoft about "stack sales" - basically the benefits of the integrated innovation that Microsoft provides from the base platform of server products, up through the next layers such as LCS, Windows Mobile, Office and the Dynamics range of products. Well we're not getting on the road to talk to partners about maximising sales opportunties by focusing on stack solutions around Business Efficiency, Flexible Working, and Collaborative Business.
"The Microsoft Ignite Sales Tour will help you understand how to drive increased revenue for your business. These sales training events will focus on the solutions customers are asking for and show you how to maximise your sales opportunities."

I made a pilgrimage to the Fry's Electronics store in Renton, WA today. It's about 7 years since I went to one in California (which I think was the one in Campbell). The Washington outpost didn't disappoint - the place is just HUGE ane makes PC World look like a corner shop. Granted it sells a lot more than just electronics these days but the array of stuff you can buy for a PC is amazing - from cases, disks, memory right down to transistors. A true geek heaven :) Apparently the one in Renton "reflects past historical events" - but I couldn't figure that out.
Needless to say this peice of computing history has taken to the web with Fry's Outpost!
If you haven't come across Folder Share you *have* to check it out. It's the coolest new technology I have seen in ages - so cool we bought it a few months back. In a nutshell, it's a peer to peer file replication service - the best bit of which is it's free :) With an upper limit on file sizes of 2gb and a very simple and intuitive UI, it's a terric way to keep files replicated across home/work machines automatically and securely.
"You no longer need to send large files via email, burn them to CDs/DVDs and mail them, or upload them to a website. FolderShare allows you to share and sync important information instantly with anyone you invite, making it the perfect solution for personal or small business use."
I can't say I'm a huge fan of MTV's "Pimp my Ride" but Dell made announcments about their new lineup at CES yesterday including a limited edition "pimped out" PC for gamers. the XPS 600 Renegade - the system boasts a custom red paint job with flame graphics along the side. it will hold two of Nvidia's GeForce 7800 SLI graphics cards, which would allow four graphics processors to be linked together alongside a 4.26GHz Intel Extreme Edition dual-core chip. Quite the gaming machine then!
Their XPS Mobile Concept looks pretty cool too.
"E-mail productivity and availability are top priorities for businesses today – but they are threatened by viruses, worms, spam, and attackers. To help businesses defend against these threats, Microsoft offers a combination of solutions for securing Microsoft Exchange: Antigen for Exchange, Advanced Spam Manager, FrontBridge E-mail Security and Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server."
Check out our new site that discussed Secure Messaging - in a simple way. We have made a number of acqusitions recently as we build out our portfolio of security products and from this site you can also download trial software. At the network edge, either FrontBridge managed services or Antigen on-premise software can help customers filter out spam and viruses before they penetrate the network. On internal e-mail servers, Antigen on-premise software helps protect against internal threats and enforce content policies. Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server provides protocol- and application-layer inspection to help businesses securely enable remote access to Exchange Server.
