The same way RIM got to Blackberry - with the help of Lexicon from California. The name hasn't been around that long but it's already grown on me. When I first heard the name I thought "euggh" but I actually like it a lot now. Not as much as I like brown though which I think is a stroke of genius.

My brown Zune is now in the country safely in the hands of Tanya. Ooooh, the excitment is building folks and if you're coming along to our EVO Roadshow this week in Leeds I'll ensure we weave it in to the demo!

  • Hi Steve, the wsj article requires a subscription to access it.

The link to BadLanguage did indeed link to some other interesting articles, spent (or wasted) a good half hour reading about how companies arrived at their names. :-)

    Thanks

  • hi Andy - sorry about the WSJ subscribe thing. will bear that in mind in future. glad you enjoyed the other links though

    cheers
