It looked like a very cool day though the beer was a bit close to the laptops for my liking. It's just cool to see us doing this kind of stuff and I wonder if it'll be extended our externally? Either way, if it means more stuff appears more quickly on Dev.Live.com or elsewhere that sounds like success to me.

Thanks for picking this up. It would be cool if the UK could turn out something like this. Of course, speaking as someone who doesn't work for MS, what would be really cool is if it could somehow be opened up to partners and non MS employees too. Yeah, I know you'd have the "well who owns the code" problem, but it's nice to dream isn't it? :)
Just think, you could get some of the top devs from the UK to decend on an MS campus, make up small teams, and examine a concept (say social networking) and watch what sort of solutions were created.
Sounds like a party I'd like to got too!
