Spotted by Frank, a very cool new plug-in for Windows Live Writer. This one inserts a thumbnail of a website. Plain and simple...does what it says on the tin. Fantastic - thanks Jason!

These are pre-configured VHD images that requires Virtual Server 2005 R2 installed on your system. Check out the Virtual Server 2005 R2 System requirements page
Windows Server 2003 R2 VHDThis download comes as a pre-configured VHD and helps you evaluate the new features of Windows Server 2003 R2, the most productive infrastructure platform for powering connected applications, networks, and Web services from the workgroup to the data center.
ISA Server 2006 VHDThis download comes as a pre-configured VHD. ISA Server 2006 is the integrated edge security gateway that helps protect your IT environment from Internet-based threats while providing users with fast and secure remote access to applications and data.
There's a truck load more of these over at the VHD site including SQL, Exchange and more.
For 3 years I attended the mobile love-in down at Cannes and always had a love/hate relationship with it. The love was for Jacques in that whisky bar and the hate for stand duty and having to prove each year that yes, Microsoft is serious about the phone business.
The show has since moved to Barcelona which means people will probably be able to get a hotel now...which is nice. I miss the event though and when I bumped in to Dan and Michael from ALK last week it hit home. Fortunately, the girls at Shiny Shiny brought it all to me with more humour than you'd ever find at the real thing.

Great post by Paul - I was disappointed to miss Chris Bangle of BMW talking at our Tech Ready conference in Seattle recently but Paul gives a good summary. Sounds like it was inspiring so I'm hoping the webcast comes out soon. I'm busy listening to a recent talk Steven Levy gave on the Redmond campus recently.
