I was ensnared in this ad campaign last week on my way home from Heathrow on the tube. So much so that I whipped out my S620 smartphone and surfed on over to http://www.information-revolution.org
On a small screen I got the gist of things and thought it was actually pretty cool - a bunch of blokes from the pub railing against Google. I dug a little deeper though and found a fairly flimsy guerilla ad campaign by Ask.com that was uncovered in about 5 minutes by visitors to the site. However, I did order a t-shirt from them simply for the inevitable collectors value and downloaded a funky new wallpaper.
I even spotted a flyposter campaign on my way home through Chiswick tonight. I was too tired and jaded to even take a photo though
Robert gave us a pretty hard time this week about our Live (inc search) efforts and rightly so. We need to kick in to another gear but I sincerely hope we can come up with something better than this!
