I've been listening and watching the whole Open XML debate for a while now and decided it was high time to chime in and ask you to offer your support. Here is my very simple recap of things - apologies for the paraphrase but this is the deal.
If you agree, please show your support at http://www.microsoft.co.uk/openxml/ - it only takes a few moments.
thanks!
Now, for some real information...

I tried to do it in Firefox and IE but got the same error:
Validation of viewstate MAC failed. If this application is hosted by a Web Farm or cluster, ensure that <machineKey> configuration specifies the same validationKey and validation algorithm. AutoGenerate cannot be used in a cluster.
Sorry... really want to help but...

Isaac - thanks for the heads up. I've asked the webmeisters to look in to this immediately

There is already Open Document Format, it is free, without license restrictions, for all software developers to create new, compatible products.
In May 2006, the world's top standards body, the International Organization for Standardization, based in Geneva, made ODF a global standard.
Wy creat two incompatible, supposedly universal open standards.
Dual standards would make a mockery of the process, leading not to interoperable, but incompatible, rival formats.
