Good to see the boys from the Daily Post and Echo taking up the citizen blogging initiative as spotted by PR blogger.
I'm up in the pool this weekend and thinking maybe my blog evangelism has gotten out of hand as my mother asked me to help her setup a blog this weekend. You can find her at The Wirral Gardener
Back to the Echo, they have enabled the public to send in their own stories, upload pictures and videos which should be provide some true comedy over the coming weeks and months.
<insert scouse joke here>
Todd Bishop pointed these out on his blog. He doesn't seem overly excited about the tactic to promote the Collections feature on Live Search Maps but I quite like them. Interesting that they don't seem to have any branding on which is a smart and unusual move for us. The in store window ads have a link to thepushpinproject.com - you can create your own Collection from this site but the cool part about sharing back is well hidden. Drop an email to idea@thepushpinproject.com
I've created a Blue Monster sightings Collection.
This made me think of some shoe fans I know :)
Phew....thankfully not. There is something ironic about me viewing this post through Google Reader though :) Looks like I should go create my my own Yahoo Ad with their http://www.sharewhatyoulove.co.uk/ site!
Check out my (very) similar version :)
Is there anything else going on in the world this week?
[update] Hugh re-posted too :)
