I had the pleasure of visiting a River Thames based hotel last week for a team meeting and given I now always carry my camera with me, I clicked off a few photos from the balcony and Windows Live Photo Gallery came up with the panorama above. Click on the image for the full experience.
This technology is free from Microsoft and you can download it now. It's practically magic!
[ps - check out a video tutorial on YouTube as to how this works]
Hey Steve,
How about sticking it on Photozoom and showing it there?
-Jamie
good idea Jamie - doing that now
Here are some panoramas from Australia:
Eureka Tower in Melbourne - http://jbmurch.spaces.live.com
Box tree - http://poppyironbark.spaces.live.com
Both of the above are vertical panorams (ah, yes, did you know that Live Photo Gallery stitches vertically?)
Make somebody disappear - http://poppyironbark.spaces.live.com
Around town and home - http://sonia-ott.spaces.live.com/ and http://shaker155.spaces.live.com
Some of the panoramas are in blog entries, others in photo albums at the above sites.
These are all done by adults in my "webDotWizard" classes.
Enjoy some panoramas (created in Live Photo Gallery) with an Aussie flavour.
nice work Bernie - hadn't thought of vertical stitching...cool!
