Looks like the Vista team is keen to make the most of the Mojave site with ads now appearing on sites like Valleywag.

Hat tip to James and Anand

Gosh….I’m speechless. Coincidentally I spotted someone in our Reading office with it on a t-shirt today! Rock on.

    Dell finding their style

Earlier this week I got an email from Dell and as is increasingly the case, it caught my eye. Michael’s boys are doing a nice job of adding some colour and style to their lineup and (cough) even challenging Apple. Well….maybe not.

The Dell Studio Hybrid PC is the their smallest and greenest desktop and can be customised with the groovy covers above including one in bamboo!, I was also pleased to see it’s available in the UK aswell as the US.

The Studio Hybrid is about 80% smaller and uses about 70% less power than a typical desktop apparently. They’re pretty nicely kitted out too with a slot-loading DVD, HDMI, an the option of a Blu-ray drive.

    Nice.

    Live Mesh get a refresh

    LiveMeshLogo60

As many blogs are already discussing, Live Mesh got an update today and the Mac client even made a brief reappearance. Some bug fixed and performance work has gone in but the most significant change for me is unlimited invites – you can now invite all your friends and family to join the Mesh world.

To do so you simply open a folder in your Mesh, click Members in the mesh bar, then click Add. You can also do this from the Live Mesh folders in Explorer view.

For clarity, the new version numbers is 0.9.3103.9

Oh and welcome to an additional set of countries with no waiting list!

If your country/region is the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, or New Zealand you can sign up for Live Mesh directly, with no waiting list, by visiting www.mesh.com. We’re limiting the Tech Preview to these countries/regions for now because we want to make sure that all customers have a great experience with Live Mesh, and we’re still in the process of testing the experience for other countries/regions.

I love this post from Sarah and really hope she’s going to the PDC. Some of the comments on the  post are great too…
