I hopped over to MTV Music which launched last week and lined myself up with a playlist of some of my favourite retro videos from their 16,000+ archive. Major bummer – they’re not available in the UK :(
Another reason for me to head back to the US?
Looks like nice work in taking the fight to Google though as this is more than just a pretty site – it’s a platform with API’s to build mashups and applications.
Here’s some favourites for those of you stateside
As some of you know, I hail from Liverpool originally and am also a huge fan of Banksy. Last time I was home I saw that The Whitehouse pub on Duke Street was up for sale. The buyer gets the largest Banksy artwork ever included for free.
A tempting investment in the current climate :)

Was reminded of the coolest dude in cinema whilst in LA this week.

Surprisingly we’re not talking Birmingham, Mass here – we’re talking Birmingham, West Midlands. My pal Karl would be proud of this guerilla action is his old neighbourhood. Some my say it’s a prank but I think this stuff is long overdue. I was in the US last week and didn’t seen nearly enough of our new ad campaign (on billboards as I didn’t watch any TV). It’s great therefore to see my UK colleagues taking the battle literally to Apple.
It seems like this is more than just a billboard too. From what I read there are Softies there asking people to come inside the booth and record their own I’m A PC ad.
