I was checking the location for the Windows 7 public beta and no sign of it yet. I did find two updates already though for Windows Media Center issues so if you’re planning to test that, you may wanna grab these.
I’ll post links to the Beta download as soon as I have them
Install this update to resolve live and recorded TV issues in Windows Media Center, recorded TV playback issues in Windows Media Player, and MP3 file corruption issues in Windows.
Update for Windows 7 Beta for x64 (KB961367)
Update for Windows 7 Beta for 32 bit (KB961367)
I keep getting a connection error on the product key page after I answer the profile questions for the Window-7 32 bit download..
Can you send me one? to mailinglist.account _at_ gmail dot com
sorry, i'm not able to send keys
This isn't a good day for the GFS if this is (not!) being distributed via the new 4G data centers...
Gen 4 data centers are not up and running yet...looks like lots of pent up demand for Win 7 so hopefully the links will go live on Windows.com soon
Thanks Steve.
btw, do you know if we should not use our PDC 2008 HD versions anymore?
re product keys, I spotted on windows 7 blog there were problems and they're working on it. the advice is to install anyway and come back for the key in a couple of days.
i'd grab this new build mark. much better
think i'll take your advice steve...its going on my NC10 over the weekend...particularly now i've found the regedit to get Mesh running on 7 too.
make sure you go grab the drivers from the Samsung site. all the Vista ones seem to work fine
What exactly are the Regedits to get Mesh Working? That info would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance!
Chris Koenig put the regedit up after PDC...works perfectly with the latest version of beta too...
