I seem to spend a lot of time at the moment giving people impromptu demos of Live Mesh. It’s a great way to dip your toe in to cloud computing and experience how “the cloud” can change your computing experience.
I came across the What’s inside Live Mesh? page this week following a tweet from @MSWindows and found it a handy overview to point newbies to.
Enjoy…and send to your Mesh free friends.
Steve, I've been using Mesh for a while now and find it invaluable when traveling. I have access to all my computers and didn't need to be a VPN guru to get it all configured. Its simple to setup and it works.
Only gotcha I had was after initial setup, UAC must be enabled on both remote and local computer. Not sure if the same issue exists now.
I just got an Eee last week, set up Mesh on it and my work computer...
... this is the coolest piece of software I've used in a long time. I've been recommending it to all my friends.
