Congrats to Herb and the crew at Thinking Digital who have officially sold out TD09 with 6 weeks to go. Damn fine work in the current environment.

It was such a great conference last year and I’m looking forward to it again this year. here’s 10 reasons why

1. It’s in Newcastle….a refreshing change from London
2. The venue is terrific
3. Tara will be there and we can drink warm beer in the bar again
4. Dan Lyons will be there and even though he’s not Fake Steve any more, he’ll still rip on Microsoft
5. Curtis Wong from Microsoft will be there to show off WorldWide Telescope
6. Johnny Chung Lee will be there with his Wiimote from Microsoft
7. The party is a relaxed drinkathon with friends
8. Herb and the gang know how to run a cool conference…it just drifts by your cortex with easy
9. There are good, cheap hotels…did I mention this isn’t London?
10. It’s two days out of the office with “the tribe”
