Ina Fried landed a series of great interviews and scoops with Bill Gates this week. He talked about Chrome OS, Project Natal (coming to Windows) and most interestingly Project Tuva.

Tuva reminds me of the great Christmas Lectures from Chris Bishop at Microsoft Research. It’s a series of lectures by the renowned, late physicist Richard Feynman which have been published by Microsoft Research. The Project Tuva site showcases the Feynman lectures which Bill recently acquired. Apparently Bill was a huge fan of Feynman’s science lectures and tracked them all down after seeing one with the intent to make them public.

As you may expect, he didn’t just fling a bunch of videos up but added a cool interface with transcripts and related info.

Go take a look at Project Tuva – a great initiative and a cool site.

  • I saw this yesterday and watched the first video last night, I was very impressed (especially as I had coincidentally finished a Michio Kaku book the same day). I know that hypothetically we could all just make powerpoints or code our own silverlight but it would be superb if MS decided to make this availble to Univerisities.
