Thanks to whoever entered me for the Computer Weekly blog awards for 2009. I was surprised and honoured to win best company blog and best overall blog last year so thanks again to everyone that voted. The categories have changed a bit this year and I’m in the Individual IT Professional Male category – the shortlist gets announced on Oct 27th and there is some very stiff competition so I’ll be delighted to even make the short list.

I just paid $200 for the priveledge to spend three days preparing my computer and 7 will not download; some file incompatibility error and no help to resolve it; how do I get my money back or get help to download this nightmare; why does Microsoft do this to average people; we are not computer geeks!!
