well CES is over so this is a bit last posting but I liked the graphic so much I couldn’t resist. Initially I was downbeat about the lack of Microsoft stuff on there but as I said in a post last week, our gig is software. Also, we’ve argubaly had more of a focus on enterprise software of late. Anyway….it’s an enjoyable infographic

Glaring omissions...
1. Set Top Box (cable, satellite TV)
2. Tivo (DVR)
3. Touchtone telephones (milestone transition from rotary opening up allsorts of touchtone services).
With the focus on Apple, surprised not to see the Newton on there. In fact, arguably, Psion (electronic organiser), Palm (PC companion), Blackberry (wired handheld) all deserve a place a milestone consumer electronics. Maybe, they are viewed as too 'businessey'.
