I noticed a new feature on Bing this morning I hadn’t seen before called Quick Access. I’m sure it’s been there from day one but it was the first time for me.
I was searching for an article in The Independent and used Bing ostensibly to find the web address for the newspaper. What I got back was the site I wanted as the top hit but right there, within the search result, I could search for articles within the newspaper. Nice :)
fwiw, Google doesn’t do this but Google is the search engine of choice when you step inside The Independent’s site.
On a side note, I’m loving the Olympic images from Bing compared to Google.
[update] looks like I’m not the only one. I also had missed the fact that the images are changing 4 times daily during the Olympics
Yes same views here, The daily Google Doodle looks dull compared to Bing Olympics images. And Bing to rotate 4 images a day during 2010 Olympics.

Quick access feature is also nice addition. Only thing I would request bing is to implement full feature set to all regions.
thanks vasudev - I hadn't noticed the 4x image rotation. will go check later today
