&lt;p&gt;1. &amp;nbsp;the Sync Framework V4 was cancelled, don&amp;#39;t install the CTP&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. &amp;nbsp;you should be using Sync Framework v2.1&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. &amp;nbsp;installing Sync Framework Toolkit if you want the features from Sync Framework V4&lt;/p&gt;
