Last week I was in Las Vegas for Microsoft's annual Mix conference, where, like all conferences, you get a badge and some sort of clip or lanyard.  The Mix team was very smart in making a dual-use lanyard that you could use to hang a Zune 8GB from once the conference is over.  After Mix, I flew to South by Southwest in  to demonstrate and explain Silverlight and our extensive Windows Media ecosystem.  Because I use Expression Encoder to create my video podcast series that can be played in Silverlight and on my Zune, I thought that in addition to showing the Hard Rock Cafe Memorabilia I'd show the Silverlight landing page that I created for the podcast series and explain and demonstrate the Zune as well.  Many people who saw the device couldn't believe it was a Microsoft product and when I let them try out the navigation on it, I saw smiles.
