For those weather watchers out there the Seattle area has been experiencing an extended temperature inversion. We get inversions all the time but they don't often last this long. My house in the nothern 'burbs has not seen greater than 1/2 mile visibility since last Thursday. I went out shopping last night and I thought the supermarket had experienced a power failure because the plaza looked pitch black until I was almost on it. Oh, well, it gives me time to think about the fog in Flight Sim. Hard stuff to get right, that fog. Maybe Steve will blog about how it's done. There's also been a rash of landing gear issues, in Atlanta and today in Portland. Coincidence? I don't think so! And did the writing staff at AvWeb intend the pun in the last headline in this list?
