In today's economic cycle many people, employees, managers, (the list goes on) are fearful in whether their projects will be cut, or they will lose their jobs.
I've spoken to several of my friends and colleagues around the industry and it seems as if there are two mindsets.
1. It's only a matter of time before they or their project get cut so why bother giving 100%.
2. Press on, do your best work, trust your management and see what happens.
So as a manager of people with different mindsets during this economic downswing how do you keep the ship afloat and drive vision? Keep in mind that half of your team might not be investing 100% to the project/company as they are just waiting for the other shoe to drop.....
