Highly recommend that you view it if you have not. Steve is an awesome presenter. Very insightful.

It actually reminded me of a conversation I had with my brother (who also works at Microsoft, on the C# compiler team). He asked me, "if you had all the money in the world, would you be doing what you do now?" I thought a bit about it, and answered "absolutely." I love programming, I love technology, I love languages and theory (which is why I decided to join the VB compiler team), I love how to figure out how technology impacts society, I love learning about new technology, I love reading about new ideas and trying to bring ideas to fruition (in this case, computer programs).

Don't get me wrong - I love to play hockey, I love to snowboard, I love to hang out at Starbucks - but all of these things I don't think I can do more than a month straight without being tired and bored.
