I installed the three Getting Started add-ons for Excel, PowerPoint and Word and I'm moderately impressed with the level of free training materials provided. Although fairly basic in design, the training materials consist of a slide deck with integrated flash animation parts and links to the Office Online portal. They come with assisted short online sound bites combined with live labs that capitalise on your own installed copy of Office 2007, by downloading and integrating example data that you work with. The premise is, you run through the slide deck, play the short animation, launch a selection of short, HowTo labs guided by an always on top online help guide, finishing with an online test
