Recently I purchased one of the new i-mate Smartphones since I wanted to be able to check email everywhere I went in an effort to be more productive.  It took a little bit of time, and since I don't work much with configuring Exchange or with technologies like ActiveSync, it was a little frustrating. Actually though, the biggest frustration wasn't from the technology, but from the fact that I was using a phone that my carrier didn't know about (since I bought it online from some international website) and so it took forever for them to set me up with the right settings for Internet access.

Now I'm trying to figure out what applicaitons I should install on my Smartphone, and if there are any corporate sanctioned ones that I should be using.  Too bad I'm not part of our IT's testing of the SMS 2003 Device Management Feature Pack, otherwise I could have all my settings on my Smartphone configured for me, and it would have a list of applications that I could choose from that would be advertised by my SMS admin.  Going to try get into the RC testing of the DM FP...
