&lt;p&gt;So as long as you don&amp;#39;t blog much beyond the subjects the blog was founded upon, you should be able to keep those subscribers since atleast in my RSS reader it doesn&amp;#39;t make any sense to unsubscribe in any other scenario except that the blog a) goes down b) starts spouting random non-work stuff when I had it categorized under some work related topic.&lt;/p&gt;
