With the new Perimeter Network Configuration Wizard that was announced in January, you'll be guided. Built and shipped by a small focused team, the application will significantly reduce the complexity of setting up an Internet facing perimeter network for the customers of Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 Enterprise Portal, (will also support Microsoft Dynamics Business Portal 3.0, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM Mobile 3.0.) Other products will be supported as they are released

The highlights of this release

• Defines a common perimeter network for Microsoft Dynamics AX applications.
• Verifies correct physical network connectivity of all servers required for a Microsoft Dynamics AX application installation.
• Applies all the necessary ISA 2004 firewall rules for the selected Microsoft Dynamics AX application
• Provides detailed state information which allows support to understand all the servers, addresses, rules applied, etc, in case of support issues with Internet facing Microsoft Dynamics AX applications.

Note that this tool is to be used with Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0. Other versions are not supported.
