I have investigated a bit and it should be possible to import the data to Live Maps.

Maybe you need to convert the data to a suitable format which Live Maps can import (GeoRSS, GPX, KML or KMZ file). HTH?

I earned MTCS certification but not Embedded (ASP.NET).

No, never was sailing on the Traunsee ...

@hrf: no, never ignoring. I checked out your blog, actually, and wondered if you've ever been sailing on the Traunsee? And if you are one of the 193 people who have earned the Windows Embedded MCTS certification? I like your idea; let's figure out if we can do it with Live maps (that's what we do today - just take a static registration list and map it). I'd like it if we could post it as a live map... maybe we can, I just don't know how. Ideas?

Using Google Maps (or Google Earth) such a map would be possible ... (e.g. http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=113469894287416990373.000001122298d572f68a1&t=h&z=7)
