Over the past couple of weeks, I have seen a particular spam pattern hitting my Yahoo inbox.

Krissy@alleninfo013.info

Elodia@dataex621.info

In other words, it follows the regular expression: [A-Z][a-z]+\@[a-z]+\d{3}\.info

For those of you who can't read regexes, It's a first name followed by the @ symbol, followed by a lower-case word, followed by 3 numbers, followed by .info.

I saw a pile of this stuff a couple of weeks ago and then a slight variant last week.  I don't know if spammers realize this, but the type of Content they are sending is easy to block.

  • I have been having a huge problem with Yahoo spammers. It seems alot of my mail doesnt even come in my name. What can we do? I will be the first to admit I am not a comp wiz and can only manage really basic stuff but this is insane and I hope someone out there can help. PLEASE?
