&lt;p&gt;Great article as always, I was reminded of password hashes and salting not long ago when reading a blog post by Troy Hunt. &lt;a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.troyhunt.com/2012/06/our-password-hashing-has-no-clothes.html"&gt;www.troyhunt.com/.../our-password-hashing-has-no-clothes.html&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;While I agree that salting and hashing passwords is vital, going by the article mentioned, in the near future there will be a need to rethink security and how we handle passwords and application security.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Again, keep up the good work.&lt;/p&gt;
