Developers can visit the Windows Dev Center to get access to all the tools and resources they need to design, build, and sell apps in the Windows Store. While all apps during the preview phases were free, at RTM developers can begin charging for apps, so those with access to RTM bits will begin to see paid apps appear in the Windows Store.
Also, Windows Server 2012 has been released to manufacturing.
On September 4. That’s when Windows Server 2012 will be generally available for evaluation and download by all customers around the world. On that day we will also host an online launch event where our executives, engineers, customers and partners will share more about how Windows Server 2012 can help organizations of all sizes realize the benefits of what we call the Cloud OS. You will be able to learn more about the features and capabilities and connect with experts and peers. You’ll also be able to collect points along the way for the chance to win some amazing prizes. You don’t want to miss it. Visit this site to save the date for the launch event.

Hey everyone, we know you're as excited for Windows 8 on DreamSpark Premium as we are. It won’t be here today, but you will be the first to know when we make it available, promise!....
BTW : On the Hub is the third party which distributes DS-Premium
To get it today guess we not important
Oh no! Another 2 weeks to wait. I was so happy the 15th finally arrived. I am very sad right now :( They shouldn't call it "Dream Today, Create Tomorrow" it should go like "Dream Today, Create 2 weeks later"
Just bought new ssd and made all preperations and now the only thing I can do is set up win8 90-day evaluation copy, just to set the whole system up again in 2 weeks. Just Great! Greetings from Germany
.. oh and just one more thing came up in my mind. Will we students get Visual Studio 2012 at the same time with Windows 8 Pro or later/earlier on DreamSpark Premium?
-> Tim - I think there's visual studio ready same as W8, so it depends on the institution Admin... :/
can the evaluation copy be expanded with an original win8 key?
Nope! You have to install it all over again... that's why I am so unhappy that we have to wait another 2 weeks for the dreamspark release.
All the literature said Dreamspark Premium customers would get this on the 15th and better yet, alot of it still says that the Dreamspark Premium accounts DO have access to it.
What's so bad about admitting they made a mistake?
Bit of a dissapointment since I'm actually waiting for Server 2012. Guess I'll have to wait a bit longer.
Wait....,continue waiting...., and wait 4ever............ :(
Students on vacation=a lot of time to be used for testing out/writing new software like Win8 and Modern UI apps... It's a shame they chose to delay the availability by 10 days.
Will Visual Studio 2012 also be available for us students in "August 25th - 31st" ?
@Lee Scott Can we install msdn version and then enter key when windows 8 be available in 10 days? Is it same SHA?
Will regular Dreamspark members be able to get Windows 8?
It'll be kind of unfair if regular members can't be get a copy.
