With Windows RT and Windows 8 devices now appearing (e.g. Surface running Windows RT is now available for pre-order)
I just wanted to ensure that you all understand the difference between Windows 8 and Windows RT.
1. Windows 8 runs on x86 processors en.wikipedia.org/.../X86 so Intel or AMD processors
2. Windows RT runs on ARM architecture en.wikipedia.org/.../ARM_architecture
Both Windows RT and Windows 8 look the same in that they both run the Windows Style UI and can access apps from the Windows Store.
The differences are
Windows 8 runs all the applications you use on Windows 7 today so in technical terms any Win32 app. It also runs thousands of great new applications, many of which are free and which you simply download from the new Windows Store.
Windows RT just runs the new Windows Style UI applications which can be downloaded from the Windows Store and with the devices running ARM processors they have greater battery life.
Is India release of Surface on cards? I am really excited about this device please at least give hints about release and if yes then around which time?
