Until recently, all our ERP KB articles were “locked inside” CustomerSource and PartnerSource, i.e., they were not accessible from the open web. A couple of months ago, we took the decision to open up the ERP KB articles to the publicdomain and make them indexable by search engines. We took this decision for the following reasons:
This process has been completed recently, and we now have over 30,000 Dynamics ERP KB articles public and accessible on the http://support.microsoft.com. Also, all ERP KB articles going forward will be created with a publicvisibility setting by default. The search rankings of these KB articles will of course move up over time as the traffic on these pages and the number of inbound links grow.
