Bright Side Of The Road...

Some of you may already know that I try and watch at least one technology-related webcast each week in order to expand my horizons a little further. On the whole, I find them a useful adjunct to instructor-lead training courses, technical conferences, online articles and books, and there are no shortage of on-demand webcasts on microsoft.com. Rather than keeping all this wonderful information to myself, I thought I would post details of my recommendation for 'Webcast Of The Week" as regular feature of this blog. This is not intended to be Microsoft CRM only, although I'm sure some CRM specific webcasts will slip in from time to time, but I will try and keep it relevant to the CRM community.

To break you in gently, I've chosen a webcast that runs for just 17 minutes:

• Ryan Donovan (and team) - What is Commerce Server? - Why use Commerce Server? Lots of big-name retailers do. But, what the heck is it? Now that the Christmas Shopping season is over we sit down with the team that builds the product that runs a lot of the commerce-oriented Web sites out there. Fun discussion with part of the team that makes Commerce Server.
