You Really Got Me...

I just got an e-mail from Reuben (Microsoft CRM Partner Tchnology Specialist) to let me know that the next UK User Group meeting is being held at Microsoft Thames Valley Park offices later this year. The agenda is as follows:

• 1.00pm – 1.15pm Registration; Tea and Coffee
• 1.15pm – 1.30pm Introduction – Rod Gordon (Chairman of the CRM User Group). Rod will introduce the second meeting of the CRM User Group. If you are not currently a member then come along for a trial run!
• 1.30pm – 2.15pm Titan Overview - Reuben Krippner (Microsoft). Learn about the key areas of investment in the next version of Microsoft CRM (Codenamed “Titan”). Find out what the upgrade path will be for your deployment of Microsoft CRM.
• 2.15pm – 3.00pm Probably the Most Addictive CRM Requirements Specifications in the World? - Neil Benson (Increase). Have you ever written or received a perfect CRM requirements specification – complete, unambiguous, and appropriately detailed for the users and developers? Neil will show how to build a customised, annotated CRM screen specification in a wireframe prototyping tool. The results are much less ambiguous, more complete and appropriately detailed requirements specifications. Using wireframes dramatically improves requirements communication, prevents misunderstandings and costs a fraction of getting requirements wrong.
• 3.00pm – 3.15pm Break for Tea/Coffee.
• 3.15pm – 4.00pm Mobile CRM Solutions - Dean Carroll (Aspective). In today’s business climate, organisations are being forced to work differently in order to stay competitive. There are increasing demands on people and organisations to deliver greater results in shorter timescales. The workplace is truly changing and becoming ever more mobile, with 41% of workers now spending 10-24 hours a day away from their desks. During this presentation Aspective will discuss the business drivers and benefits of mobile business computing and applications and demonstrate specific solutions for Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• 4.00pm – 4.30pm Q&A / Discussion Chaired by Rod Gordon. We will be joined by members of Microsoft’s UK CRM team for a general discussion on any Microsoft CRM topic. Bring your questions/topics along to be raised with other members of the user group. Help define the direction of the user group. Also - what topics would you like to see at future meetings? Should presentations be aimed at a business or technical level?
