Parabola, one of our Gold partners, is running a free SharePoint 2010 event for colleges, here at the Microsoft Campus in Reading on Tuesday 18th May 2010.
It’s an opportunity for you to further understand what SharePoint 2010 can offer to a college, and to put your questions to experts at Microsoft and Parabola. David Lloyd, Director of ILT Development of Esher College will also be talking about their use of SharePoint (you may remember that I singled them out last year as one of the best looking educational SharePoint sites). And the agenda leaves time to network with other colleges and compare notes.
At the end of the afternoon, there is also a session on Microsoft’s cloud computing strategy, and specifically Windows Azure. This session will help you to plan your future IT strategy, and to understand a little more about our future direction.
The draft agenda is:

SharePoint 2010 Demo - New Features and Enhancements from 2007 Richard Lane(Technology Specialist, Microsoft)
