Terms & Conditions for Competition
1. ELIGIBILITY: This competition is open to individuals who are authorised representatives of a Microsoft Partner in the United Kingdom who is 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Microsoft or its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees’ families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners).
2. DEFINITION: An Independent Software Vendor (ISV) is defined as a company that commercially develops software.
3. TO ENTER: Leave a business card (or company email contact details) at the ISV Team stand at one of the MSDN Roadshow events (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-gb/bb905504.aspx?id=328)
4. TIMING: This competition runs from the 21st April 2008 to May 16th 2008. Entries must be completely submitted via the process described above no later than the closing date. The winners will be notified by email by within fourteen days of the closing date.
5. PRIZE: There are two prizes for the winning entries, with each prize consisting of an Xbox 360 console. Prize as stated and non transferable. No cash or other alternatives available. Microsoft reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes will be sent within 30 days of the competition closing date.
6. WINNERS LIST: The winners consent to their names being made publicly available. The names of the winners will be available for a period of three months after the closing date at http://blogs.msdn.com/ukisvdev/
7. USE OF DATA: Personal data which Partners or their employees provide when entering this competition may be used for the purposes of administering the competition and you hereby consent to such use.
8. OTHER: No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this competition or these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event of a dispute, Microsoft’s decision shall be final. Microsoft reserve the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this competition at any time without notice.
